Beyond the World Records
EPF engages in a range of other activities in-line with its objectives to strengthen the overall sport and development sectors. On request it supports other organisations to implement their own programmes, EPF develops and shares coaching and training tools improving gender equality in sport, and it engages local and global audiences through speaking events and sport-for-good fora.
Global camps
EPF's camps deliver training in sport, empowerment and leadership through existing local teams, clubs, academies, CSOs, and NGOs that focus on sports development, education, health and empowerment for girls and women.
We deliver camps that not only improve the calibre of the women’s game and capacities of women in sport, but also increase the access of girls and women to football and build them into change-makers for their communities, meanwhile introducing traditional NGO beneficiaries to the transformative power of sport.
NGO, Team, and club SUPPORT
Outside of its Global Camps, upon request EPF works with locally-based organisations - including NGOs, CBOs, CSOs, teams, clubs, sports academies, schools, community leadership and governance actors - to offer insights, technical guidance and operational support for their respective programmes and activities.

Equality Summit
On 5 July 2019, days before the 2019 WWC Final, Equal Playing Field hosted a 1-day international conference in Lyon on women’s football alongside Football Women International and Athletes for Hope.
The Equality Summit hosted 150 international leaders in women’s football and sport, delivering panels and breakout sessions on coaching, female athlete physiology, athlete safeguarding and accountability, women in football media, rights-based football policy, commercialisation and professionalisation of women’s football, and football governance.
Keynote speakers included USWNT members Julie Foudy and Kristine Lilly. The summit was delivered with the support of ESPNW, Women Win, and the US Embassy Paris. EPF hopes to make this a recurring event! || View Photos
SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
The Equal Playing Field network spans far and wide! We regularly call upon and connect our community with opportunities to share their stories and reach new audiences through speaking engagements.
Our three co-founders as well as various friends of EPF have spoken at schools, universities, conferences, media interviews, TED Talks and more, on topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, professional and grassroots football for women, inclusivity, diversity, women in sport, and gender equality.
storytelling & content creation
EPF’s Media Team is made up of talented creators who help us amplify stories and develop multimedia tools for us in the sport-for-development space. The team regularly goes beyond sponsor and media requests to complete short films and photo documentation for partner organisations that support their programming, advocacy and fundraising initiatives.
We are currently in the process of finalising a 10-part skills and coaching video project of female elite players and coaches, to be translated into multiple languages and distributed to partners, sport-for-development actors, and women’s / girls football programmes, as well as publicly released online.
We are always seeking support to expand our capacity to create content and enable community development through football in a virtual world!
Resilience & leadership training
Raise Your Game Project. EPF is working with partners across the gender equality and sport-for-development (S4D) space to develop a longer-term programme for grassroots organisations and amateur football clubs to build their leadership capacity, strengthen their organisational resilience, design tailored gender equality strategies, and deliver community-based projects to increase the access of girls and women to football and to build the social cohesion of their communities -- strengthening the pathways for women in sport whatever their context. Get in touch to learn more about our Raise Your Game initiative.
Equal Playing Field is currently exploring a 6-week online course for female coaches and administrators of sport for development (S4D) organisations and amateur clubs to develop their leadership skills and resilience to manage the challenges exacerbated or created by COVID-19. Participants will be grouped in coaching circles with a facilitator to work together, share common challenges and build tailored coping strategies.
Stay tuned as this exciting new initiative takes shape!
One Ball, One World Project
For the year leading up to the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia / New Zealand, EPF is working with Spirit of Football as the official gender equality partner for the One Ball, One World project - which will be journeying from Battersea Park in London all the way to Auckland to raise awareness around three key pillars: fair play, gender equality and climate action in football. Engaging local activists, schools, clubs, and NGOs all the way up to heads of state and sporting institutions, the journey is focused on education and building support for both accountability and sustainability in football across the three key pillars, enabling people and communities around the world to pledge their commitment to a better future for all. Besides co-designing the curriculum, EPF's global network and project ambassadors will be participating in the journey all the way to the World Cup in 2023.
